Mind Your Head Installation

The Installation explores the power of thought when one awakes from the sleep and face the reality of the day that lies ahead. All one hopes, wishes and desires become enveloped in the process of motivation and/or a deepened anxiety.

An upside down bed represents how getting up in the morning can be a brutal process, tipping one from the comfort of semi-conscious thoughts into the outside world. A pillow allows the head to seek comfort. When combined with a bed it forms a protective space. it is therefore a demand that when one enter this space … Mind your head.
